Susan Spitalnik is a strategic advisor and board director with more than 20 years of experience helping organizations improve performance, navigate complex change, and strengthen execution. A former leader at McKinsey & Company, she has guided major transformations across industries, including a $6B consumer products merger, the restructuring of a $2B retail company, and a performance turnaround at a $5B retail bank.

Beyond strategy, Susan focuses on making execution stick—aligning priorities, strengthening leadership capability, and translating vision into practical action. She helped scale McKinsey Academy to reach more than one million professionals worldwide and co-created the Black Leadership Academy, which has served over 450 organizations.

Known for her clarity, candor, and ability to navigate high-stakes decisions, Susan works with leadership teams and investors to accelerate performance while strengthening organizational effectiveness. Her work is grounded in the belief that well-run organizations create better outcomes for the people they serve and the people who power them.
